Description
Nutritionists and Dietitians are experts in food and nutrition and educate the population on healthy food choices, food measurements and modifications during illness and disease, i.e. they use diet in treatment of disease and maintenance of health. They carry out nutrition and health research to establish trends in nutrition and health from time to time. Nutritionists and dietitians form part of the medical care team.
A certificate holder will become a nutrition or dietetics technician.
